I've heard it said that travel broadens the mind. I beg to differ. If it starts off so narrow you couldn't squeeze a molecule through it, I very much doubt transporting such a mind even to the far reaches of the universe would have much effect on it. I know several folks who always seem to be coming back from or preparing to go to some faraway locale. And they still don;t seem to have much to say or do between trips. Life is the only journey worth taking and you don't have to travel very far to know the difference between going someplace and being someone wherever you are. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art tries to be the best traveler he can be exactly where he is in that wonderful suburb in northwest Austin, Texas.

Don't travel too far and stray away from your art supplies Charles : ) Hope you're doing well and they weather is complying with your 3d works

Artist Reply: My point being, Dave, that travel may or may not broaden the behind but I doubt it does much for that grey jelly between the ears. Regarding supplies, all I need nowadays is a gel ink pen and some color pencils. The weather, like some women, continues to tease only--giving little or no satisfaction. Uh, in the rain department that is. :)
