Here's my latest watercolor. The title is Where's Waldo--don't know if you are familiar with the game of Where's Waldo, but the player has to find Waldo among numerous caricatures. I wanted to do a sea turtle, and I came across an image of a turtle hiding in a cave among the coral. My emphasis was painting colorful coral and then insert the turtle barely sticking out so he can see what's going on. Since I'm much older now, I have to admit I struggled with his face--just feel age has caught up with me in that I'm having trouble doing detailed work, i.e., reading shapes and colors, but I'm not quitting!!! I still have too many images to paint--just have to be more patient and go with the flow!!!
