Another envelope drawing wherein the window interrupts the continuity of the shadow. This is a 7.5 by 3.75 inches gel pen drawing and another example of that wunderbar artist known as Original Jones Art who happens to live, of all places, in northwest Austin, Texas.

His neck seems to be tied up to a pole for a reason I won't be able to guess, because he he looks quiet and content/ Anyway "Freedom to everyone tied to a pole now" is my motto of today:))

Artist Reply: Freedom for all barbers, regardless their color or creed! Don't let their quiet, smiling resignation fool you. And for God's sake, bash those poles---as long as they're not Polish. Yes, Nikolay, you dug deep on this one. Hope all is good. :)

Wouldn't think it was an envelope drawing if you didn't say . The black holds open a slim doorway and chance for escape. I like the secretiveness overall . Done well Charles : )

Artist Reply: Well, the vertical lines on the right were for the return address but I made them elements of the drawing instead of just letting them be. Anyway, it kept me occupied a bit today so there's something to be said for that, Dave. :)
