Some of us get twisted on the inside, some on the outside and some get it in too many ways to count. This is another of my 'special' compound sculptures. It stands 8.5 inches including the base which itself is a 5 inches circle. It is also composed of wire, newsprint and Styrofoam. I finished this late 2024 but just took some decent photos. Original Jones Art still doing his thing in northwest Austin, Texas.

I cold hearty agree Charles life can be twisted and some can be so arrogant to be caught a twisted game.;D

Artist Reply: “Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive” from Marmion by Sir Walter Scott. There are some folks in history I'd like to have met and Mr. Scott is one of them, Ray. Shakespeare said we're all just actors and, to some extent, that is correct. Trouble is, we are writing our own script on the fly and most of us can't hold a candle to The Bard. Now isn't that as clear as Mississippi mud? :)

Less is more. Envy you that!;))

Artist Reply: Thanks, Nikolay! I guess you could call me a reductionist. Though that word has probably been perverted these days, like a lot of other things. I have a new small painting. If I can get it photographed properly, I'll try uploading soon. Take care. :)

Super cool Charles . Nice and solid . I like the colors and stance with head tilt . Over all looks great : )

Artist Reply: Yeah, I'd like to see it standing between 12 and 15 feet tall but I'd have to make it outside worthy. Of course, the fact that I'd probably kick the proverbial bucket before it was completed, never enters the picture. Or does it? Hope you are doing great today. :)
