Hi Joanie. Your creative artistic talent evokes artistic realism in your painting here- especially with the depiction of the flowing water. :)

Painted a pixel art result similar to your wonderful vision back in the mid 1990s on my brother's 386PC, Joanie. lol Your's is much better. If I still have your email address, I'll email you my free-handed version, but, you have to understand, I'm a filter guy. lol :)

Artist Reply: MANY THANKS LYLE FOR YOUR NEAT COMMENT. HOPE YOU FIND YOUR ART PIECE.

We artists are never satisfied with our work. But I believe it's a healthy way we look for improvements in our craft. I think it's great Joanie! And if you feel the need to rework it a third or a fourth time, go for it! Great way to hone your skills!

Artist Reply: THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH RYAN. I'LL JUST MOVE ON TO A DIFFERENT WORK. I LOVE DOING SEASCAPES, OLD BARNS, HOUSES,LANDSCAPES. JUST SOMETIMES NOTHING WORKS AND NEXT TIME ALL GOS YOUR WAY. GUESS WE ALL GO THROUGH THE SAME THING. AS FOR THIS ONE, ANY MORE OIL PAINT ON IT AND IT WILL BE TOO HEAVY TO CARRY. LOL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR REALLY GREAT COMMENT.

The water looks very inviting, Joanie. I know what you mean about pieces that don't jive 100%. BUT that means you have an internal critic that points you in the right direction. That's so essential for self-improvement in ANY endeavor. Hope all is good. :)

Artist Reply: YOU ARE SO RIGHT CHARLES. I'VE HAD A FEW FOR SURE. THIS ONE I REALLY DISLIKED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT COMMENT AND GREAT REMINDER. STAY WELL.
