You could call it 'shadowus interruptus' if you were so incllned. But I can't think why you would be. I was going to call it His Blue Period but after noticing how the window in the envelope cut through the shadow, I changed it to this. Yes, this is another envelope drawing which measures 8 by almost 4 inches. I used a blue gel pen and a bit of blue color pencil just to simplify matters. Yes, this is Original Jones Art playing a shadow game in northwest Austin, Texas.

Out of the blue. Cute. Hope your life's of different colors

Artist Reply: Well, the colors are dreary winter tones presently but soon to perk up since it's Texas and winter weather is by no means severe on average, Nikolay. Hope you and family are doing great. :)

Like the hypnotized eyes and blue cast overall . Nice one Charles and as I write, it's 3 degrees here in the Windy City. No grilling in the backyard today : )

Artist Reply: These can be fun and I don't feel obligated to respect the paper with these junk mail freebies, Dave. The sky was filled in using intersecting lines, one piled upon the next, etc. I used a blue color pencil to strengthen the feel of the shadows, etc. I used it sparingly though. Yes, we had a cold one last night but only dipped into the mid-20's. We had a small amount of snow the day before but it warmed enough to melt it by day's end. :)
