This is an older painting of mine, created in 2001. It is based on the Blythe Doll, a saucer-eyed doll with color-changing eyes that was produced for one year only--1972. She asked to be in my gallery, so here you go! ;-) © Blonde Blythe, 2001.

Hi Blonde. You have created a remarkable artwork portrait homage to the Peacenik, Flowerchild, and Hippie movements of the mid 1960s to mid 1970s. I am a Baby Boomer who grew up during the 1960s and 1970s, and I remember those classic cultural/social times well.
