Inspiration is everywhere and at every moment and is infinite.
Inspiration resides within me constantly and patiently waits for the moment when it will come out and express itself in one way or another. Inspiration can manifest itself immediately or after years.
In the past, I found out that one of my followers is in Oregon.
If I divide the name, Oregon, into two, as it sounds in Hebrew... I translate to myself, "Or HaGon " - "The Light of the Shade".
Coincidentally and with permission I collected for my studio an old photography book, by the photographer, Ray Atkenson (RIP).
With the huge progress and developments in photography, I actually, chose to take inspiration from a book printed in the year 1986, a fact that emphasizes that inspiration has no time.
On my desk in the studio, a watercolor painting in progress, inspired by the photographer Ray Atkenson.(RIP)
AND.. Of course in the 80's, I used to take inspiration also from books. (not only, and that would be another fact...)

Lovely workspace. I have no such place. I work from my bedroom which doubles up as a work place and it’s the only place where I can work as I have been ill for the past10 years with numerous ailments that effect me in all sort ways. Soon I am going to have an operation. Art for me has been a good outlet to copy with my restricted life and off course my lovely family too. When I work the whole house is at peace otherwise it’s bedlam. My children/Grandchildren /pets are my main inspiration. Someday I look forward to having a good work place but really I should complain as drawing in my bed is Cosy. Laugh out loud. - Rabs

Artist Reply: Dear Rabs.. first I wish you good heath.. and speedy recovery from the opration. I do some writing of dreams or.. some other stuff... In the bed... Yet I never paint in the bed. And i paint when or where I can. We have had some health problems in my family. Not easy year as I already said here before..and I say.. only a bit of what is being going on in my life. The studio is still mine.. but it belong to my mother actually. It is located in her basement and I have problems there, not enough space to my artworks.. and more. If she sell, I would have to take all my things from there... and have NO place in my home. Difficult situation. Not only paintings there, but working tables and materials. I many times paint in our living room. A studio is important to the artist. I hope that the Future bring me soloution to a working place.. until then I decided to work more on papers..thinking of where shall I put my canvases.. also having some more undone. I wish you well, and hopefull a suitable place to work on your art. I likr your sources of inspirations. I do not work much of portraits.. perfer to make landscape, flowers..Thank u for visiting.
