Systemic means affecting the whole of something. Of course, this is a dumbed down definition. In medicine, it would mean a condition which affects the entire body. Being human is, in some ways, a systemic condition which occurs in nature, hence the tongue-in-cheek title. Of course my hybrids have their own set of problems only obliquely related to the average humanoid. I hope I'm being suitably obscure and obtuse here. Clear and precise definitions are to be avoided like the plaque these days. This is a 5 by 3.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. One has to wonder what Original Jones Art is thinking nowadays in northwest Austin, Texas.

Clever one yet again Charles : ) Watched 1984 last night (the John Hurt Richard Burton one) Oh well , cheers to the good that humans can do . Just noticed your dot shading... Hope the hot weather has eased off for you : )

Artist Reply: I watched the mid-fifties 1984 recently myself, Dave. Slightly more primitive but no less effective in its visualization of the original material. I also watched a 1971 movie called The Cry Of The Penguins with John Hurt. It had Hayley Mills in it too. It's a good movie and free on YouTube. As was the 50's film. The smaller the drawing the more effective the dot shading. Thanks! :)
