This is a watercolor that I just finished. After taking a second workshop from Stan Miller, I am now painting portraits. Cal is an excavator who has been redesigning my backyard, and I asked him to be a model so I could practice. It was a fun project, and he was just excited as I was with the outcome. Now moving onto another portrait. And he's wearing a black leather (Aussie) hat which makes the ruggedness stand out more.
