I had the idea to paint a goblin in a swamp for ages now, and finally got around to actually painting it. I was going for a moody and fairly dark feel with this one, spending a lot of time with the details to really bring it to life. Initially I had a cooler color scheme in mind, but ended up going for warmer tones as I proceeded on with the image to really help bring out the greens in the image, which I feel gives it a ton of life.
