This is an illustration of Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom from Greek Mythology, which is one of my favorite subjects to cover. I wanted a clever way to incorporate an owl into the image, as that's the symbol most closely associated with her, so it took some experimenting. I also opted to push lighting as much as I could with this image, so I chose something dynamic and lively. Lots of time was spent bringing the image to life, and I hope you enjoy how the image turned out as well!
