This painting gives an impression of a typical market scene in Ghana. The scenery is almost recognizable whether in real life in the painting. Wares, foodstuff and other materials for sale are mostly displayed informally or set up on top of tables and mabeshift platforms in every position for customers to visually weigh and buy. Isaac continues to focus on women as his main subjects by depicting their resourcefulness and value in the society.
