Patchwork is so symbolic of life. Bits and pieces of memories we hold on to all through our lives, experiences that make up the person that we become. Projects that still need to be completed an the ones we have yet to start. In our youth we feel time is endless. As time rolls into our later years, we start to feel the clock start to tick, at that time we really start to understand and appreciate how important it is to allow ourselves to indulge in our passions, the things we really love, that feed our souls and seem to make us whole. This is a digital painting of my yet unfinished improv quilt, created from my photo of a small portion of this quilt.

I like your words dear Vicki.. The work is fantastic.. Such is life. Each has her his kind of life.. That sometimes dictate.. It is good to remember our youth.. And being young.. Some people has naturally more time to create later in life.. Some like me.. Has less time in comparison to being young.. Enjoy creating my friend.

Artist Reply: Very much appreciated dear Nira! My life seems to have gotten quite hectic but I feel my internal clock ticking and I'm trying very hard to make time for the things I love. Thank you again!
