Titled: ALICE & CHESSIE--my version of Alice in Wonderland. I know there are tons of depictions inspired by this beloved fairy tale, but I still decided to try my hand in still another version. The Cheshire cat is now an androgynous looking (but male) handsome human/cat hybrid shown softly enticing wide-eyed Alice. Does he work for the Queen of Hearts? The flowers are a bit on the worried side and skeptical about his intentions, but hopefully, all goes well! This piece was done on acid-free thick watercolor paper using pen/ink, mainly watercolors, and a bit of acrylic.
