20 years after the Columbia disaster, that influenced me, that time of life to create, different subjects from my usual, at least for several months after the event.
That means, it made a huge impact on me.
There were a few reasons for that as I explained the other day while posting the "Star Dust" Oil painting, I made.
That time after the Columbia disaster, I asked myself in disbelief, how it was possible that a group of astronauts were sent into space, and did not return.
I asked this because I assumed that extremely talented and successful people who were carefully selected were sent to the mission.
And I found it an unfathomable omission.
As an Israeli, I felt the excitement that Israel sent its first astronaut..
and I felt sorrow for the loss of all 7 astronauts.
In memory of Ilan Ramon, The first Israeli Astronaut. (z"l)
Thanks for visiting.
Love & Peace.
