1969 was my first year to actually go to the race. The month of May was always spent in Indianapolis. My Dad shot there on coming out of turn 4 for 32 years.
Yes, the muscle cars can be quite expensive these days.
Artist Reply: I've lived in Indiana all of my life, same county, just an hour away from Indy and have never been to the 500 or NASCAR brickyard. Now with cost of everything I don't expect I ever will
Artist Reply: Thanks, Vicki. I don't believe it was an official pace car as I didn't notice the advertising on the side, but it is the same year and colors of the 1969 Camaro pace car. My 1st car was an '85 Camaro and have loved them ever since. Too bad I can't afford one anymore. :)
