Another in the WORD series, this is actually number 2 of 5. And unlike the other 4, this is horizontal not vertical in format. The sun has been good the last couple of days though a bit windy. This is a 12 by 16 inches acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas and another wordy entry in Original Jones Art's attempt at visual communication in both a concise and a distorted way here in northwest Austin, Texas.

looks like a little bit Pollacks work.

Artist Reply: I've never been a fan of the drip method or that movement as a whole--though I 'might' like it slightly better than the POP movement which, like a balloon, should have popped long ago. My 'method' is to write words, thoughts, feelings one layer at a time, usually in one color. Let dry and repeat until I feel enough has been said and/or obscured. Since I haven't found this to be at all a 'trendy' thing to do, I may do more. Once others start in, I will most likely abandon it though I do feel some emotional release with the process which, in my current condition of enforced oneness, isn't to be sneezed at, Ray. :)
