Great colors in this piece!

Artist Reply: thank you Amy, this is one of my favorite paintings in which color was a playful effect to a solemn theme!

Barbara, so intriguing and powerful, how many of the paint-strokes within your creation, 'could' resemble the copyright symbol of ownership throughout. Yet, such an ego-centered 'It's MINE"!! declaration...belongs to no one, perhaps, as you are searching within this truth. These are truly gorgeous colours and vibrant strokes. And the composition moved me on how you disected it---or divided it, from what the young man was reading about? He looks angry on his meditations--yet he refuses to be 'squared' on truths?--the right side of the painting shows an universal mind/thought, as in the young man being carried away from his surroundings. I sense a universal symbology so I can't say the 'truth-seeking' is expressed as Chinese/Buddhist, Middle Eastern/Muslim, or Hardcore Xtian in a 3rd world country. This image is totally awesome.-- Minerva Bloom

absolutely stunning Barbara, your colors application patterns and composition. You say so much with simple strokes. This feels like making the journey to truth is the same journey to peace
