Always seems to be a battle between two opposing forces even if it's between two parts of the same personality. With some folks, it's the dark side every time. This is a 5.5 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It's another small tidbit of Original Jones Art as he whiles the time away making marks on paper in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave. I've got three lined up for the next three days. And I have a 'vague' idea for a series but, the way I work, we'll have to wait and see. Keeps me 'out of mischief' as I like to say---though, honestly, a little mischief might do me a world of good. :)

Artist Reply: Thank you, Ginger! I was being a bit more 'out there' with this one, thought I'd lost it at one point and then recovered it. I'm quite content being 'artsy-fartsy.' And there's an old expression: If you can't say anything nice, say nothing at all. I pretty much live by that one. ;)
