This is another painting, a watercolor study, and a series that I’ve been working on. The scene was from a memory of camping on the Big Thompson river before the big flood which prompted a dam to be built fir ther up the mountain. It’s always nice when you’re out in nature and a bird flies by, swoop slow, as a saying hello. In the scene the woman stops for a moment from reading her book to look up and see the visitor.
