The original sketch was simpler but this came okay, I think. This is a 4.5 by 6 inches gel pen with color pencil on lightweight acid-free paper. Anyone notice how I do the skies in these nowadays? I take an empty pen and scratch into the sky area before adding color. I've transitioned to this technique over actually creating a rhythmic pattern with ink before adding color. And, I'm sure, I'll probably change my modus operandi again given time. That's the way with Original Jones Art as he plays his little marble game here in northwest Austin, Texas.
