I need better pics but thought one on the inside in my home studio/gallery would suffice as an introduction. The sculpture is limited to the object with (you guessed it) the blue balls. What you see below is the abstract sculpture pedestal I made for it. So I guess an inside shot works best to show that off. Both are made using my special paper-based compound. The 'house' uses Popsicle sticks and newsprint; the pedestal uses wire and newsprint and both use my compound. The sculpture is roughly 8 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 9 inches deep. The pedestal is roughly 18 inches tall and is 12 inches around. This is Original Jones Art wishing for some local shows here in northwest Austin, Texas.

That is cool and beautiful Charles WoW

Artist Reply: Thanks, Ray! I'll take some additional outside shots soon so you can get a better idea of the sculpture itself. Each one of the balls is made of my compound using half of the plastic eyeballs I cut away from another 3D piece called 'Eyebox II,' I only have 9 of the discarded shells which I use as molds and to make those 9 takes a full day as each needs to be hand worked and hardened in the sun. There are 28 total. :)

Very cool sculpture, Charles ! : )

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave! The lights on the pedestal came out brighter than they truly are but color is okay otherwise. I'll take some outside shots going a full 360 degrees soon. :)
