I uncovered this one from an old pile today and thought I would share. It's pre-pandemic and, if you look carefully, you notice tiny differences between work now and then. This is a 9 by 7 inches gel pen drawing with color markers on medium bond acid-free paper. It's just another example of that Original Jones Art we'll all one day get tattooed on our butts here in northwest Autism, Texas.

This reminds of old led zeppelin song daze confuse

Artist Reply: I was a big fan of Zeppelin in the early days. Graduated HS in 1970 so was the right age too. Those were the days, my friend; we thought they'd never end----oh, that's another song. :)

Nice one Charles... I like the squared shape at the bottom of the neck and the head tilt. Great title for this pic.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Mark! I do tongue-in-cheek titles on occasion but this one was anything but. That year, drawings were only rough preliminary sketches for paintings and so many from that year are not as polished. This lives on its own, I think.

Yes, different, but I like both styles. You seem to place a lot more detail in your work today but this one grabs the interest immediately with the open-ness on the one side. Love the squarish collar!

Artist Reply: Yes, I think I may have added color after the fact on this one, Ginger, and only filled in as I thought necessary at the time. And no background landscape to inhabit either. I thought it was worth an upload as most of the 2016 gallery contains paintings, not drawings. Thanks as always for taking the time to look and comment. :)
