This hails from 2013 when I was thinking of doing a series of children's books based on a central character. I didn't get around to doing anything beyond this sketch but I found it recently and thought I'd upload to the 2013 gallery. This is a 7 by 5.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil and felt-tip. It's not exactly vintage but it IS Original Jones Art from northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: I was still working at an elementary school at the time, Joanie. I left it in the school library for years so the kids could enjoy Louie. I didn't have the time then and I don't have the enthusiasm now, unfortunately. Thanks for commenting. :)

I could see Louie teaching kids the elements of blues music. Maybe aimed at a slightly older demographic?? Great drawing!
