Still out searching for food,but soon it will metamorphosis into a cocoon for the winter ,not like the Monarch that migrates to the south these find a nice cosy place for the winter months,maybe wrapped in a leaf,under a bark of tree ,maybe snuggled under a pine tree,,then they emerge as a Caterpillar,ugly & fuzzy.....in the spring our gardens are run over with them.Its really amazing how much cold they can stand.This one is quite a find.,Gorgeous.
