Soon all the leaves will leave this Fascinating tree,the ground will be blanketed with gold,& yes GOLD ,as this is a very valuable trees MEDICAL TREE,,, in many countries this tree gives so much to science & medicine,it's incredible,amazing as also serves as herbs too.,why they call it the MAIDENHAIR TREE,,,,,I have no answer to that ,maybe AW has that input.to provide all of us, I took 3 years of Botany in School,at that time just barely knowledgeable with plants,but that was when you only had one species of a GERANIUM,it was easy to identify it.but today with all the hybrids we are into the thousands of varieties with only one flower,so so difficult to identify as now they are of shuts of Families of plants ,trees,shrubs,stems,bushes,trailings,etc it's Amazing,Marie,Thank you for Sharing the many different kinds of Flora ,many are so interesting ,I learn so much from your photos ,some are wonderful finds.,also your Country ,the medieval ,Renaissance period ,it's Spectacular ,this photo of this Tree,is Stunning,a tree that gives so much to us,
