I wonder how many have reached out to others for a lifeline during this crisis only to bring back a stump? Yes, we hear of people and bureaucracies doing the right thing but it's so rare it's 'news-worthy." This is a 5.5 by 4.5 inch gel pen drawing with color pencil. It's another one of those Original Jones Art pieces that continues to crop up in northwest Austin, Texas when reason dictates otherwise.

I hear you brother,,Amen!!!! oh,yea,,,outstanding work here!!!!!!!!!!!

Artist Reply: One questionable result of sucking in news feeds as though they are 'good' me, is I start seeing patterns that not only dismay but sicken my spirit. One reason I have to take a break to draw or sculpt or---just about anything else BUT continue reading/watching for a bit. And then, after a few hours, there I am, back to a steady diet of acidic and/or putrefying 'news.' At least we, you and I can, take these artistic breaks. Think of all the poor souls who can't turn away.
