This painting uses family as an inspiration. The picture of the artist, his father, mother and his younger brother depicts that when men go home to rest together, they always like to compare successes but not in a whose richer kind of way, but in a caring for each other kind of way. Recently, the painter left home to pursue his career advancement, so there was less and less family time. Even so, every time the painter went home for a visit he was still familiar with everything at home and found time there always so joyful and relaxing.
