Its almost as if she is looking from a train (although the windowsill denotes it is not so) at everything going by/away... Nice colors and skin tone. The way the shadows bleed to darkness at the lower edges focus us even more on her gaze, the destination of which is hidden to us.
Why is she so lost? This is my granddaughter Valecia and she is 16 now and she has always been a rebel and always seemed so lost. Even here, she is looking out the window and dreaming of adventures. I want to thank you all for your comments and am looking forward to getting to know you all. It is nice to have a place like this to showcase our work and talk to others about our work. Thanks...Patti Jo
