Two Italian scientists working independently have concluded that the coronavirus has mutated into a less virulent strain in Italy. You will remember that Italy was the first country after China to be hit hard by covid-19. This suggests that in a couple of months all strains of the virus will have lost a lot of its punch. Which means after awhile it could be as social and communicable as a certain old artist I know quite well. I am heartened by this because there has been too much death and suffering already due to man's ineptness and the virus, probably in that order.
