Another sketchbook watercolor 7 x 10. People say watercolor is so hard but I can't see why. I draw with my brush as well as doing washes and (like Wyeth) often use very thick paint especially in backgrounds. The sugar jar was intriguing because of the different ways light affect metal and glass. raw sugar is the color of honey and I went for warm earth tones.
