Artist Reply: Thankyou Nira, we now have Snow ,which has blanketed our western Canada . This scene is hardly even recognizable as this only that we no use it for our Grandkids Skating rink as it's completely frozen over ,,I've cleaned the snow ,,,,thank you for choosing this scene

I like the contrasts here. The birch trees introduce the mountains. After standing by the waters edge for a bit , one turns back and can walk into the inviting mountains saying, "come sit with me, come stand by me and breath the fresh air, you will enjoy!". Super painting.
