Wounded Hunter

Needed another image from the Alaska Raptor Center to supplement the eagle and owl images already selected. This fellow is a handsome chap, but has a twinge of sadness in his eye. You see, he is at the center to recover. He longs for the day whereby he will soar again, spying his prey, and swiftly swooping to the earth to complete his mission.

BEAUTIFUL. SAD WHEN THEY GET HURT. SPEEDY RECOVERY

Artist Reply: So agree with the sadness that accompanies a beautiful creature who may be temporarily sidelined. I read, just this morning, that the Alaska Raptor Center recently released a swan named Blueberry back into its natural environs. :>)
