Galjas

In the Mediterenian a galjas was an evolution from the galley to a merchant ship provided with sculls. On the North-and Baltic sea the galjas, like represented on the watercolour, was a small merchant ship. In use till the beginning of the 20th century. Image size: 260 x 360 mm

VERY well done Ivo !! There are few people drawing/painting sailing craft that really know how the rigging should look, and YOU are one of them. Very nicely rendered also.
