My 12 year old relative gives me hope that there are still children/younger generation people that are not solely attached to their cellphones, to their smartphones, to their computers as means of communications. She also enjoys writing and mailing-via the traditional mailbox postal service- letters, Birthday cards, Greeting cards, Holiday cards, Thank You cards to her family members, and to her friends. My young relative's 'snail mail' method of communicating is the inspiration for my artwork showing a girl putting her mail in a mailbox. I used the Paint program on my computer to create my art.
