Artist Reply: Dear Al.Trust that you are well.I have been away from computer and studio busy painting but I now read your comment of the 15th of June 2022.I need to thank you sincerely for your kind words and compliments.I appreciate it highly. It always make me quite humble when someone notices my artwork.I always endeavour to do quality work but I also realize that I have a talent that is only on loan from my creator. Many thanks and it is nice hearing from you. Many and kind regards.Fred

Outstanding Artwork.. You are talented all right Fred.

Artist Reply: Dear Nira.Thank you for you kind comments regarding my artworks.I really appreciate it.It always humbles me to realise that my art was noticed by an appreciative onlooker. The story about the "Symphony to the Whales is based on the fact that whales negotiate by sound,This gave me the idea to combine a musical instrument with the whales.I floated the wing piano,a Yamaha,on the ocean.Interesting enough,I wrote to the Yamaha Manufacturer for permission to paint their Logo on my painting. They were not willing to give me permission so I changed the Logo to Hermaha and used the whale tails instead.Hermaha comes from Yamaha and Hermanus where I live. Some time ago a regular overseas customer of my son's Art Gallery,Stanford Online Art Gallery, asked for some art of my wife. Her stock were sold out at the gallery and my son arranged that they visit our homestead. They came and looked at all our art but were interested in the "Symphony to the Whales" painting.I said that it was not for sale but they made me an offer no artist could resist.Today the painting hangs in their home on The Islands of Guernsey. They are Peter and Ali Taggart, the proud owners of my painting. Sometimes all the "Burning the Mignight Oll" brings some rewards. Thank you once again, and enjoy Art and Painting.
