This is a portrait of our Westie girl who died last year at age 15. I did this for my step-daughter who grew up with Fluffy and still misses her. 11x14 pastel on sanded paper.
What a treasure for your daughter! I will never forget the dog I grew up with either.. and this is a wonderful tribute. I love the background color too!! Beautiful!
This is very good use of shading to create depth - well done on a white animal, they are usually such a hard subject. You've made it look effortless! Great work! :)
