Artist Reply: Many thanks Cindy. Your portraits are great! News paper is thin and coarse and the repeated layering gives an interesting texture. I prefer sand card though!

Artist Reply: Many thanks Francoise, I do love pastels and recently they compete with my oil work. I'm glad I put etching aside as all genres demand fulltime effort.
