The Magnolia I pass in the Spring and summer months walking the dog. They are up to 8 inches acoss. Did you know why you don't see them in arrangements? They are a very stinky flower. To bring them in the house, one must soak 24 hours outside to remove the smell and that is questionable! Have a great day tomorrow!

Artist Reply: Thanks. I like to take pictures of flowers in the late after noon, when there are the shadows between 4-6 pm in summer.

Wow,Yes this is a Spectacular HUGE blossom,The Beauty is like a Bride all dressed in White,well that's what they say about this Beauty.,a real Southern Charm & Grace.,& Yes the Fragrance is unbelievably Intoxicating, Delicate but tough,Majestic in every way,,,,When Honey Bees & Bumble Bees see these ,there eyes open wide with excitement ,& when they come out of these Blushing Blooms,there legs are loaded down with pollen ,with Yellow faces,can't wait to get back to the hive,to tell others where they can find this golden nectar.This is a wonderful Photo .

I ADORE MAGNOLIAS .AND YOU'RE RIGHT THEY DON'T SMELL SO GOOD .. HOWEVER MAGNOLIA'S PICTURES ARE ALWAYS A FEAST FOR THE EYES THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL .. HAVE A GREAT DAY ..
