Territori innevati 2012, from 16x16cm to 46x18cm, 20 images, 1/5 Biking along the country roads in the winter my curiosity and attention has focused on a few small and dry branches fallen to earth. I focused my thoughts on the semblance of these high branches around 12/15 cm with real trees, only in miniature. During a train ride through the Apennines, in Italy in a snow filled sky it sprang the idea to place the found twigs and gathered in the streets in an imaginary land, and of course in a snow day. Once I've have selected a number of these small branches, I used the scanner - tool that I use often - to get the visual sensation of being in front of bare trees in their actual size. The snow effect is here also the result of a scan, made by a frosted glass. The whole project was carried out only with the scanner.
