This is one of my fashion designs (from the early 1980’s) set against a background of the Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles, California. Acrylic Collage, 15" x 30" x .75" on stretched canvas. Acrylics with ¾” star-shaped genuine Swarovski AB crystals, faceted gold beads, gold leaf paint, and chiffon fabric with sequin dots. Fabric has serged edges and has been securely sewn onto the canvas at the left shoulder and along the right arm with gold beads and is free-flowing. Beads and crystals are also sewn onto the canvas. No frame necessary, sides are painted. The stars in this picture will twinkle as you move in the room and the chiffon pieces will flutter in the breeze!
