Your sailboat would seem a bit more "plausible" if only you had placed someone in it, to steer it, and adjust the sails. Also, a few rigging lines might help prevent the mast from falling down in anything stronger than a two knot wind. ??

Artist Reply: This is greek mythology. The souls of the dead are not visible, the "boat" is not a real boat and they are crossing the river Styx. It is an impressionistic work of art.
