Oil pastel sketch on paper (24 x 32 cm) of Gordon "Pop" Williams, an Australian Light Horse veteran of the Boer war (1899-1901), drawn from a still frame taken from a Utube interview when aged 108. Such men earn to be recorded in some way. He also served in WW1 and volunteered at 60 for WW2. He was turned down because of his age. I find oil pastel a difficult medium-it requires "taming"-Pop was never tamed!
