"Spring Splash," c.2015. is an acrylic on water color paper. A slight influence from Pollock, but bright and quite colorful, even with the dark purple. Then again, one of my friends sees a tree in it, and well, it is an abstract piece.

So bright and cheerful!

Artist Reply: Thank you so much Victoria for looking at my artwork and this was a fun one to do...probably the first time I checked out what it would look like if I made a piece in acrylic, splattered on to give a different 3D effect! thank you for your lovely compliment! Most sincerely, Mark Kokopelli

Yes, this piece is extremely splasherific in technique and reminds me of all the pollen (and color) that accompanies the season, Mark. :)

Artist Reply: Thanks so much Charles! I knew that you, being the Colorific Technique Guy Guru, would certainly appreciate a "splasherific," Spring oriented piece!! ...and yes, there are probably bits of pollen even found in this piece. LOL. But the colors are all for Springing things up again, or at least let us say, finally bring Spring to all of us who are freezing!! Your good friend and #1 fan, Mark!!
