And now something a little different for me: an apple. I was in a mode for doing 12 by 12 inch pieces and I thought something simple might be nice. So this is a 12 by 12 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas and a rather unusual example of Original Jones Art. This piece was chosen for the Austin Visual Art Association's 12BUY12 Show December 2014 in Austin, Texas.

Very well done artwork. :)

Artist Reply: Thanks, Vernonette! Yes, this turned into a piece of eye-candied apple, you might say. :) Hope you are doing well.

Beautiful work!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Heloisa! I don't know what got into me. Maybe I'll have to use fruit and veggies as models more. They have two advantages: no squirming and you can eat them afterwards. ;)

beautiful...

Artist Reply: Thank you, Maria! There's not a lot of my work that would mesh in the dining room or kitchen, but this one might. Hope you are doing great! :)

I LOVE IT!! Brilliant work Charles!!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Dawson - Lynn! I haven't done work like this in a long time, but I rather like the outcome. I even submitted it to the 12BUY12 show coming in December. That's why I was painting that size in the first place. :)
