Very realistic drawing! Your drawings are really very beautiful. Congratulations Will. Hgs my friend!

Artist Reply: Angel: thanks so very much for your comments. They are greatly appreciated. I love old barn and I enjoy enriching their story by placing a ghost figure of sorts within them. I feel that this makes the viewer wonder who these people are and what they may have had to do with this building some time in the past. Again thanks. Best regards, Will

Love this one, great work!

Artist Reply: MH: thanks a lot. I grew up on a farm and love old barns and farm buildings. I also like to place ghost figures in the scene to make the viewer wonder who the figure is and how he's connected to this barn. In this case, he's not at all. I just added him to make viewers think beyond the surface skin of the painting. Glad that you enjoyed my approach. Best regards, Will

Will, great, this is the kind of art i really like, creating moods and thinking what could be outside the area that the viewer could'nt see... Very creativ...

Artist Reply: Kurt: thanks! I agree totally with you. In this case, I actually meant the image in the window to be a ghost figure that may have been the actual owner of the barn in a past time. But this too gives the viewer of the work additional things to ponder as they look. Best regards, Will

Yes, I love all old structures, too. Amazing.

Artist Reply: Jane: thank you so much. I grew up on a farm in Illinois and I spent lots of time playing in the barn. Most barns these days are falling into ill repair, which makes them even more appealing as subjects. However, with each barn I see, I imagine who stood in them and wonder what they were thinking. Hence the ghost figures. I'm glad that you relate. Best regards, Will

This is great Will. I especially like the man's image in the window. So realistic.

Artist Reply: Sue: thanks so much! I love old barns as do most artists. I also enjoy playing arounf with inserting ghost figures into some of my work. I feel that this gives viewers even more to think about when looking at it. I have also put a ghost figure and ghost elements into my work entitled " Ghost images in a grape vine wall". These are a bit more subtle. Can you find them? Best regards, Will

I love this

Artist Reply: Misty: I grew up on a farm in Illinois and spent many hours in the barn as a kid. I love old barns and this particular one seemed perfect to place a ghost figure looking out the window. I hope that it invites to viewer to wonder who this person is. I'm sure that this person represents something different to each viewer. Best regards, Will
