Update on the house of "FIRE" I was so pleased to see some older guy single handed rebuilt this in a bout a moth! Great progress!

Always wondered that Americans keep building their homes from timber. First of all they harm the wood in the forrest and second it is not as secure like brick. Still to your picture it is a beauty...

This form of timber frame house with veranda is often found in the UK in what were call Plotland developments that formed an alternative to the bricks and mortar mortgage system. I've been photographing them on and off for the last 40+ years. Where is this?
