A pair of red-shouldered hawks sit on a telephone pole near Newark, De. Their deteriorated nest was hanging from another telephone pole, and they should soon begin to rebuild it for the mating season.
This is really a wonderful capture Emily. I have a couple of hawks that live in the wooded area behind my house along with some owls and more then one time I have gone out front and seen the hawks sitting on the telephone pole. They are almost as big as the flock of turkey buzzards we have around here.
