I worked until very late last night on this since I had a deadline today for a February show. It could probably use a bit of finessing. (The spelling in the title is correct; please refer to your dictionary.) This is an acrylic painting measuring 14 by 11 inches. Original Jones Art. Addendum: Imbedded Heart has been chosen for inclusion in the 2014 For The Love Of Art exhibition in Austin, TX.

Very expressional and powerful piece

Artist Reply: Thanks, Ray! This was personal 'valentine' to someone special but wasn't recognized as such, unfortunately. Obviously, if I were a dog I'd always be barking up the wrong tree. Hope you are doing great, BTW. :)

I think you have done a magnificent job Charles!!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Dawson - Lynn James! If those eyes look a bit watery, it's for good reason. :) Hope you are doing well.

i think you have done a fantastic job on this painting charles.

Artist Reply: And this coming from such a refined pastel colorist? I'm grateful, Curtis! I got encouraging words from AVAA's Director just after submitting for the February show. So I must be doing something that folks in the know can appreciate. :)

Expression, Tone, & Thoughts. Art! Excellent Work, Charles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! V

Artist Reply: Hey, Chris, thanks heaps! On the one hand, I hated being 'under the gun' on this, on the other, it kept me motivated. :) Keep that creative vibe humming up there to the north.

You Capture Skin Tones so Smoothly.Your Shadow Work Always Compliments Very Professionally.Great Painting Charles!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Tim! What I didn't say above is that I've been suffering with 'cedar fever' all week and had to paint this with watery/runny eyes. :)
